Dr. Kathy LeBert is originally from Taiwan and moved to Southern California as a nine-year-old. She graduated from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and joined the US Army Veterinary Corps for the next 8 years. She developed an interest in Public Health while in the military and became a Diplomate of American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine in June 2018. She has been stationed in Louisiana, Japan, and finally Travis Air Force Base in California where she became a relief veterinarian for SPEC until completing her obligations with the military. She joined SPEC full time in November 2018. In her free time, Dr. LeBert enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and multiple animals, hiking, running, and camping.
