Join Our Team! We are always interested in meeting individuals who desire to share their skills and compassion in a high-quality, fast-paced, interesting, and fun practice environment. We are especially interested in applicants with previous veterinary experience, a strong desire to learn new things and expand their skills, a true concern for animals, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well on a team.
Are you a veterinary nurse/technician, receptionist, or pre-veterinary student who has never worked in the emergency field? If you already have experience in general veterinary practice, don’t be intimidated. We have excellent training and mentoring programs to assist you and there is a great deal of “overlap” between general practice and emergency skills.
As we are an after-hours practice, we offer a variety of work schedules including swing, overnight, and weekend daytime shifts. We employ both part-time and full-time staff members. Some members of our staff are on alternate work schedules, allowing them more days off each week. Other staff members are part- or full-time students and find our flexible schedule ideal. Pre-veterinary students enjoy working with us due to our interesting caseload, interface with skilled emergency doctors, and the academic focus of our practice.
If you are a doctor or specialist, please review our current team of doctors on this site. We are a collegial group of clinicians who work well together with the common goal of providing excellent medical/surgical care while building positive relationships with our clients and referring veterinarians. We have a strong focus on ongoing education, holding monthly doctor rounds and numerous in-house CE opportunities. We also believe in finding a healthy work – life balance, offering both part-time and full-time positions. Our practice is privately-owned and operated; our goal is not to be the biggest ER practice, just the best!
Our salaries tend to be very competitive as our goal is to recruit and retain the best possible team of doctors, nurses, and client service representatives to care for our patients and clients.
