Chanda Harris

With nearly two decades of experience in the veterinary field, I have always been drawn to animal care. From an early age, I was surrounded by pets and knew my future would involve caring for animals. While attending UC Davis and earning my B.S. in Animal Science, I found SPEC—a place that quickly became more than just a job. I committed to SPEC full-time after graduation, and over the past 15 years, I have grown from a technician to hospital administrator. This hospital, along with the staff and the community we serve, has become a part of who I am. I am dedicated to ensuring that our hospital continues to provide the highest standard of care. From supporting our exceptional doctors and staff to investing in state-of-the-art equipment, my focus is on maintaining excellence in patient care and client service. The veterinary field is constantly evolving, and I am passionate about keeping us at the forefront of those advancements. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, anything horse-related, being outdoors, and camping
